I came to play the big Harvest Fest in Fredericton with no cell phone and no means of modern communication. So I stole my Mom’s iTouch, pimped some rural wi-fi access and voila - instant rural geek (...)
On a band road trip to Gaspé, Tim’s Celtic-Maritime ensemble “The Life of Riley” had 10 hours to while away in the tour van. During that time, they interviewed Danny Rossiter, bass player extraordinaire and fine down-home-kitchen-party lover. A few hundred miles and a few lagers later, they could scarcely transcribe the interview that had just taken place. The closer to the East Coast they got, the more band’s two Maritimers, Tim and Danny lapsed into good ol’ down-home speak.
