One of the greatest traditions since getting lit up on Easter : getting lit up on St. Patrick’s Day
If you’re in Montreal the week of St Patrick’s, take a trip on down to McLean’s Pub for one of the greatest traditions since getting lit up on Easter : getting lit up on St. Patrick’s Day - and having a tune or two with the Riley Band.

McLean’s Pub
A rollickin’ Riley of a good time on St Paddy’s Day every year
“The Best-and-Most-Full-of-Guinness St Paddy’s Day Band in Towne” continues its many year tradition of drinking before the set, during the set and after the set, spewing out reel after jig after country-rock-celtic-maritime ballad. The usual one-gig tradition at MacLean’s extends this year into a multiple barrage of double-fisted-ale-pounding madness as the Riley Band rocks pubs all week, all over Montreal.
| St. Paddy’s Week Tour Schedule |
|---|
| Fri March 12 | 10pm | O’hara’s Pub, 1197 University, Montreal (514) 390-8881 (University and René Levesque) - with “MOONSHINE” |
| Sun March 14 | 1pm | MacLean’s Pub: 1210 rue Peel, Montreal (514) 392-7770 |
| Wed March 17 | 4pm | McKibbin’s, 3515 Saint-Laurent Blvd (corner or Prince Arthur) |
| Satur March 20 | 7pm | Rosemere Curling Club - lineup TBA |
Tight harmonies, funky grooves, crazy Telecaster-Master guitar and well-known Celtic, Maritime and rockin’ alt-country classics will abound. And of course, the legendary “Lisa From Halifax.” Oh, and of course, usually topless drunk people by the end of the afternoon. Hopefully not overly hairy, either.
MacLean’s is seriously a fun time. The place is always packed to the hilt, right up yer kilt…
