Equal parts small town freak, urban chic and knob-twiddlin’ geek, this once fish-shoveling, New Brunswick kitchen party-goer moved to the big city to study jazz at McGill University. Subsequently eschewing his musically erudite ways for more contemporary pursuits, he eventually became an electronica aficionado and “wannabe DJ” in his own living room.
Music producer Tim Rideout, 40, can’t stand the term, « the new Plateau. » And yet he and jewelry maker Renelde Napoli, 39, have found a post-Plateau paradise in their new Villeray digs - with ample space for two home businesses, and daughters Olivia and Louka. We begin the tour in their finished basement.
