Tim Rideout’s been living and working in Montreal and away from his hometown of Freddy Beach for a long time. What’s he been doing besides pining for a fresh lobster dinner and Stompin’ Tom? Why, becoming an elite electronic improviser and wannabe DJ while prepping for Harvest Fest, of course.
With Rideout in the production chair, this eleventh release promises to take Canada’s premier indy-folk-pop-queer-activist-road warrior in a completely new direction.
Come on by for an après-travail micro brew as Tim plays some live downtempo and chill jazz breaks at the Cultural Centre’s really cool rooftop terrasse in Montreal’s St. Henri district.
Tim will jam live this evening for a private wedding in an undisclosed location for a undisclosed amount of time. He will be playing an undisclosed amount of notes and using an undisclosed voltage while playing for an undisclosed sum of money.
Tim will be speaking about building your portfolio in the music and entertainment industry
at Youth Employment Services in Montreal on April 22nd 2008.
